Final edit
Unless English is your second language or offers another challenge, you do not need a final edit of your poems, prayers, or children's picture book if you plan to send your work to a traditional book publisher. If, however, you plan to self-publish, you need a final edit to proofread your work or correct errors before your poetry chapbook, book of poems, prayers, devotionals, or picture book sees print.
For poems or poetic manuscripts that you recently sent to The Poetry Editor for a Poetry Critique or Writing Consult on a children's picture book, revise your work according to suggestions. You can then get a final edit of your revision for $2 per double-spaced page of poetry and $10 total for the final edit of your children's picture book.
For poems, prayers, devotionals, or a poetry chapbook that has not been critiqued, The Poetry Editor will do a final edit for $3.50 per double-spaced page with 10-page minimum. Again, include an SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) and check or money order in U.S. funds to Mary Sayler, P.O. Box 62, Lake Como, FL 32157-0062.
