Poetry Critique:
Poetry Critique
Poets and writers who are serious about writing often need professional feedback
to help them see where, why, and how to improve the work at hand but also the poetry and poetic manuscripts yet to be written.
If you would like The Poetry Editor to critique your poems or poetic prayers and devotionals with practical suggestions to help you improve the literary quality
and marketability of your work, here's what to do:
-
Double-space and center each poem and its title on a separate page with
your name, mailing address, and email as a header. [Note: each devotional
or prayer around one double-spaced page long can be treated as a poem.]
-
Calculate the fee by multiplying each double-spaced, typed page by $5.00. Since the minimum fee is $25.00, be sure to send at least 5 pages. If you
have 10 pages or more, the fee is $4.00 per page. For full-length books of
poems, prayers, or devotionals around 100 double-spaced pages or more,
email a brief description of your plans and a one-page sample of the work
to see if special pricing is possible.
-
Mail your poems or poetic manuscript with SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) for the return of your critique, and your check or money order in
U.S. funds payable to Mary Sayler, P.O. Box 62, Lake Como, FL 32157-0062.
