Mary Sayler - Christian Poet, Writer in all genres,

Freelance Poetry Editor, and Writing Consultant

As an active poet, freelance poetry editor, and ecumenical Christian writer in all genres, Mary Sayler continues to research, write, edit, revise, and market her own poems and manuscripts. Her 4 e-books and 25 traditionally published books of fiction and nonfiction include novels for young people, children’s picture book, inspirational romances, a 7-book series of devotionals, a junior-senior high school library resource on prescription pain medications, and two life-health encyclopedias, one of which the ALA (American Library Association) honored as a nonfiction academic favorite for the year. In 2012 Hiraeth Press plans to release her book, Living in the Nature Poem.

In addition to those full-length works, Mary has placed 1,000 to 1,500 nonfiction articles,
Bible stories, devotionals, children’s stories, and over 200 poems in traditional or online publications, some of which can be accessed on the Internet.

In 1999 Mary began to judge the poetry entered in the international writing contest sponsored each year by Writers-Editors.com. She later began to judge all genres of children’s literature for the contest too.
